The results of the Class XII examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for all the regions will be declared on May 21 at noon. Students will be able to check their results on the board’s official website.
HRD Minister Smriti Irani had earlier this week assured students during a Facebook chat that the result for CBSE Board exams for Class X and XII will be declared “on time” before the end of this month and, as per a decision taken earlier, state boards are also expected to declare their results by May 31. The examinations were held between March 1 and April 22. The CBSE, which has about 20,000 affiliated schools across India, will also conduct post-result counselling beginning Saturday till June 4 every day between 8 am and 10 pm.
CBSE has introduced a ‘Centralized Access System’ (CAS) similar to that of a call centre. For better accessibility and convenience, students can avail counselling by dialling a toll free number #1800 11 8004. The helpline service will be for both students and parents to address their psychological issues.
