The CBI on Wednesday registered a fresh case against senior IAS officer of Delhi government S P Singh, at present in judicial custody, for allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to the fresh FIR, Singh is alleged to have amassed Rs 6.14 crore disproportionate to his known sources of income.
A 1984-batch IAS officer of Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory cadre, Singh, who was the Principal Secretary in the Department of SC, ST and Minorities, was arrested along with his personal assistant on December 8 for allegedly receiving bribe of Rs 2.20 lakh for clearing bills of a security firm supplying manpower to his department.
