Cairn India’s oil & gas output up 3% in Rajasthan

Cairn India on Friday reported a 3 per cent rise in crude oil and natural gas production from its Rajasthan fields to 1,68,126 barrels per day in the second quarter ended September 30. Average production from the Rajasthan block in July-September stood at 1,68,126 barrels of oil and oil equivalent gas per day (<g data-gr-id="8">boepd</g>) compared with 1,63,262 <g data-gr-id="9">boepd</g> in the same period a year ago, Cairn said. Its eastern offshore Ravva field saw a 27 per cent jump in output to 26,064 <g data-gr-id="10">boepd</g> in the second quarter. “Average gross production for first half of FY16 was at 2,07,538 <g data-gr-id="12">boepd</g>, slightly up 1 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y).<g data-gr-id="13">pti</g>
