Allahabad: N N Rai elevated to Executive Director in NTPC Limited. Few month back N N Rai had joined as the chief executive officer of Meja Urja Nigam (MUNPL), a joint venture of NTPC Ltd & UPRVUNL.
In his leadership Meja Thermal Power Project completed its Steam Blowing in only 23 days and synchronized its 1st unit of 660MW few days back.
He was directly involved in commissioning of more then 8000 MW of NTPC Limited.
He is a graduate in Civil engineering from Patna University. After completing his engineering, he joined DVCin 1981 and further in 1985 as ET in NTPC Ltd. Rai has vast experience of power sector including the global exposure. During his service of more than 32 years in the NTPC, he served in many plants and projects including Korba, Kahalgaon ,Kaniha, Dadri , and also rendered his services at Kanthi and Solapur as Head of Project.
