New Delhi: Despite adverse global market scenario, state-owned MMTC on Wednesday posted a net profit of Rs 43.28 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 as compared to Rs 41.62 crore during the same period last year registering a growth of 4 per cent.
The company has achieved Rs 13,176 crore revenue from operations as against Rs 12,511 crore during the corresponding period last year registering a growth of 5 per cent.
Revenue from exports increased by 384 per cent to Rs 862 crore as compared to Rs 178 crore during the corresponding period last year.
Additionally, revenue from imports increased by 25 per cent to Rs 10,756 crore as compared to Rs 8,619 crore during the corresponding period last year.
