New delhi: MMTC Ltd, Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation of India declared its financial results for the half year ended on 30th September, 2017.
During the half year, the company has achieved turnover of Rs.9897 crore as against the turnover of Rs. 4171 crore during the corresponding period last year registering a growth of 137% over the same period last year. The Company has posted a Net Profit of Rs 29.76 crore during the period as compared to the Net Profit of Rs. 3.44 crore during the same period last year registering anincrease of 765%.
During this period,exports increased by 61% to Rs 1052 crore as compared to Rs 652 crore during the corresponding period last year.
Company has formulated an ambitious plan for doubling of Trade in the next 5 years. The Company has a vast international trade network, spanning almost in all countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, America and also includes a wholly owned international subsidiary in Singapore, MTPL.
