CAs discuss state-of-art techniques at Kolkata meet

Kolkata: Views Exchange Chartered Accountants Study Circle of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organised a two Day Seminar at Park Hotel, Kolkata on the title "Skilled Chartered Accountants-Transforming India"
More than 400 delegates attended the seminar in which Recent amendments proposed by GST Council at Guwahati were discussed threadbare by Jatin Christopher from Bengaluru and Jayesh Gogri from Mumbai.
The new amendments proposed by the Council will have far reaching implication on ease of compliances and doing business as said by experts.
CA Ranjeet Kr Agarwal, Central Council Member of ICAI spoke on various Professional Opportunities available in recent reform based transformative era of India and Vijay Saini from Delhi spoke about Importance of Forensic Audit and data mining.
Before that The Conferecne was inaugurated by Sajjan Bansal of Skipper India who dwelt upon how CA s can make more effective contribution in the growth of the society and Country. CA R C JHAWER welcomed all the delegates and CA Manish Gadia spoke about the Study Circle. CA Kushal Bhuwania gave vote of thanks.
Recent Trends in Income Tax,re-opening of Assessment Proceedings, Benami Transactions and Capital Market were the highlights of second day of the Conference were aptly deliberated by CA K R Sekhar from Banglore, CA Kapil Goel from Delhi, CA Pradip Kapasi from Mumbai and CA S P Tulsyan from Mumbai. CA Tulsyan dwelt upon the opportunities in investment in those Companies which has gone in NCLT as buyers are lined up to take over these Companies and Banks would be immensely benefitted from these Companies. CA K M Tapuriah, CA Sushil Ladia, CA Mohit Bhuteria, CA Vivek Newatia, CA K K CHHAPARIA, CA C S Sarda, CA G R Gupta and others were instrumental in making the conference a huge success.
