Bengal to get 4 new Post Office Passport Seva Kendras

With a view to provide passport services to the public through the Post Offices across the country, Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with Department of Posts has decided to open Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSK). This is a joint project of MEA and DOP.

In West Bengal, four Post Office Passport Seva Kendras will be opened at Asansol Head Post Office, Krishnanagar Head Post Office, Raiganj Mukhya Dak Ghar and Beadon Street MukhyaDakGhar. 

Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Babul Supriyo, who is also the MP of Asansol, will inaugurate the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) in Camp Mode at Asansol Head Post Office on February 28 (Tuesday) in presence of Arundhaty Ghosh, Chief Postmaster General of West Bengal Circle and Bibhuti Bhusan Kumar, Regional Passport Officer, Kolkata and other guests and senior officers of both the organisations.
