Unidentified burglars struck at a boutique in Kavinagar here and decamped with cloth materials worth several lakhs of rupees, police said on Tuesday.
The theft came to light this morning when owner of Chitranjan boutique Minakshi Sinha found it ransacked with cloth materials and other valuables looted. Sinha alleged the robbers looted cloth material worth Rs 4-lakh and Rs 12,000 in cash from her boutique, police said. A case has been registered in this connection at the Kavi Nagar Police Station and police have initiated a probe into it.
