BSES denies all allegations of non-cooperation with CAG

‘The in-depth presentation, besides describing our journey since 2002, also dwelled on various measures to reduce aggregate technical and commercial losses, improve power supply, network upgradation, consumer satisfaction and major activities in their operational areas,’ said BSES spokesperson.

They were also informed about savings in subsidy burden to the Delhi government due to additional revenue accrued on account of reduction in losses.

In their confirmation, CAG informed that objective-wise requisitions will be issued to help the management in speedy production of records. It was accepted that data compilation is a time taking process as audit period is long.

Voluminous documents in excess of ten thousand pages and considerable data in soft format has already been shared with the CAG team relating to the last 11 years.

‘We have also submitted complete information on 65 queries that have been raised by CAG.

Additionally, the CAG team has taken through presentations and review of a variety of our operations including entire billing processes, IT Processes, SCADA, etc. In fact, auditors have also been provided viewing rights on our entire data base.’ said BSES official.

‘We are having cordial and regular meetings with auditors and there is a regular flow of information to them. We have been and will continue to co-operate in the audit process’, said a BSES spokesperson.
