Border Roads Organisation (BRO) will soon complete the Tawaghat-Lupulekh road in the border area of Uttarakhand near China. This was mentioned by union home minister Rajnath Singh in an official letter addressed to U’Khand CM Harish Rawat as told by CM’s media-in-charge Surendra Kumar.
It is pertinent to note here that CM Rawat sent a letter to union home minister in context to the earliest completion of Tawaghat-Lipulekh road few days back. In a quick reply, the home minister informed CM via official letter that BRO has been assigned for the completion of this road link. And, all the required tools and equipments needed for this project has been arranged to the BRO agency.
CM Rawat urged while thanking union minister for prompt action that this road being near to Indo-Nepal-China border needed immediate attention in the national interest, and fastest completion of this road will help the isolated areas to join the mainstream. The local people will also be benefitted in the process.
