Bank of Baroda’s (BoB) global business figure crossed Rs 8 lakh crore and global customer base moved beyond 50 million in fiscal 2012-13. Its gross profit grew 6.4 per cent year-on-year in the fourth quarter to Rs 2,182.04 crore and 5.1 per cent during the full fiscal to Rs 9,073.78 crore, said CMD S S Mundra. The bank’s overseas business contributed 29.4% to its total business, 24.6% to operating profit and 34.2% to its core fee income. The overseas business included 100 offices in 24 countries including 12 new branches in New Zealand, Uganda, Mauritius, Ghana, Oman, Kampala, Australia, Botswana and Dubai.
