BJP’s bad days have begun: Shivpal Yadav

Update: 2014-09-18 23:41 GMT
Claiming that communal issues like ‘love lihad’ failed to fetch votes for BJP in the assembly by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav on Wednesday said people preferred harmony while voting for SP candidates.

BJP’s ‘communal trick’ worked during the Lok Sabha polls but it failed to check corruption and prices of essential commodities after coming to power which also contributed to its defeat in the bypolls, he told reporters here. ‘Now bad days have started for those (BJP) who made the promise of ‘acche din’ during the Lok Sabha polls,’ the SP spokesman said.
