Leader of opposition Vijay Kumar Malhotra and BJP legislative members will be boycotting speaker’s lunch,which will be organised just before the budget session. Malhotra said, ‘We decided that to boycott all speaker’s events that are held outside of Delhi Assembly.’ According to Malhotra, the speaker had also pariticiapted in an event organised by Delhi government to release a working report, which is against the spirit of the Assembly. ‘Also, during the winter session, we had given notice for no confidence motion against the speaker that is still under consideration,’ he added.
