A 14-member delegation of BJP legislators currently on a goodwill tour of China on Monday visited the school of the ruling Communist Party and interacted with its faculty on its organisational structure and the reform process initiated by it in the last 30 years.
The delegation led by Lok Sabha member and former Uttarakhand chief minister, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, is currently on a six-day tour of China on the invitation of Communist Party of China (CPC) to study its internal party structure, political functioning and its role in establishing a welfare society.
The interaction at the CPC school in Guangzhou focused on reform process initiated by the party that transformed China into a leading manufacturing hub of the world, Kamarsu Balasubrahmanyam, Parliamentary Office Secretary of the party told PTI here.
CPC which has about 82 million members maintains a host of schools all over the country to impart ideological, political and administrative training to its cadre round the year.
