Trigger-happy goons kill two in capital; one battling for life

NEW DELHI: There was a spate of shootings across the Capital over the last 24 hours, that left two men dead and a twenty-year-old woman battling for her life.

In the first incident- a man was shot dead in front of his children in South East Delhi's Taimoor Nagar on Sunday. The crime took place barely 100 metres away from the police post and later led to the stone pelting in which cops and local people were injured. The residents claimed that the killing was the result of drug trafficking in the locality.

The deceased identified as Rupesh lived in Taimoor Nagar area with his family.

In a second incident, a teacher in a coaching institute was shot dead by a masked gunman in Delhi's Mahendra Park area of North West Delhi. The family of the deceased teacher Ankit has alleged that he was in a relationship with a girl and suspected her brother to be behind the murder.

In another disturbing incident, a 20-year-old girl was shot in the stomach by a stalker in Harsh Vihar in Northeast Delhi. The event was reported early on Monday. As Neha stepped out of her home to go to the office in Noida, she was stopped by a boy and shot.
