Tamil Nadu Moves Supreme Court After High Court Allows Only Online Liquor Sale

New Delhi/ Chennai: Tamil Nadu moved the Supreme Court this afternoon against the Madras High Court order on Friday that asked the southern state to shut down liquor stores because of huge crowds that challenged social distancing amid coronavirus lockdown, allowing only online sale of alcohol. The top court is likely to hear the case on Monday.
