New Delhi: A fire broke out at the building of state broadcaster Doordarshan located at Mandi House in New Delhi. News agency ANI reported that the fire started in an AC plant at Doordarshan Bhawan. Four fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. The incident came on a day when a major fire at a high-rise in Mumbai (Crystal Tower) led to the death of at last four people. A call was received about the fire at 12:50 pm and five fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire was controlled within 10 minutes, he said. The AC plant is situated on the ground floor of the Doordarshan Bhawan, the official said. No casualties or injury has been reported yet, he added.
