New Delhi: Former Finance minister P Chidambaram will be subjected to three more days of custodial interrogation by the CBI in the INX Media scam as a Delhi court remanded him in the agency's custody till September 2. The Assistant Solicitor General K N Natraj, appearing for the CBI, sought five days of CBI remand on grounds of voluminous material and Chidambaram's slow response time. Chidambaram was represented by senior advocate Dayan Krishnan, with whom Chidambaram had disagreed during the hearing, about what their position was. Chidambaram, 73, has already been subjected to custodial interrogation by the CBI for eight days since his arrest on August 21.
