A four-time winner on the region’s premier Tour, Bhullar says he knows that he has the game that can bring him towards another grandstand finish.
The 25-year-old enjoyed his career breakthrough on the Asian Tour in Indonesia in 2009 and is clearly excited about his return to the country that has brought him his maiden success. ‘The game is there, I won’t be surprised if I go out to win a tournament very soon,’ said Bhullar, who is sixth on the Asian Tour Order of Merit. The Indian is, however, cautious about being overconfident as he feels it had severely dented his title aspirations with his last-place finish at World Cup of Golf in Australia.
‘I think it was a lot to do with the overconfidence from last week’s top-10,’ added Bhullar.
