JALPAIGURI: Anchita Bhowmik, a Class 11 Commerce student from Techno India Group Public School, Jalpaiguri, has won the prestigious ‘Veer Gatha 2025’ award in the national drawing competition organised by the Central government. She secured a place among the top 100 participants out of 1.76 crore entries from 2.31 lakh schools across the country.
Anchita has been invited to Delhi on January 25 to collect her award and attend the Republic Day Parade. Explaining the inspiration for her artwork, she shared, “My drawing was inspired by a dream in which Rani Laxmi Bai encouraged me to serve the nation. It’s a moment of great joy for my family and me.”
