In a bid to compete with ISIS, the outfit that has become infamous in a short span of time, the banned terror outfits in India have become more active allegedly to gain the same worldwide popularity, obviously for the wrong reasons.
“The recent coding and decoding of the internal communication of the terror outfits done by the intelligence agencies indicates that the outfits are planning something big like 26/11 terror strike in the country 'only' to catch the eyeballs of the people and become a hot topic in the social networking websites,” a source in the intelligence agency said.
Speaking to Millennium Post, a highly placed source said : “The motive of terror outfits these days is to get maximum popularity and worldwide recognition by executing terror strikes. ISIS has gained popularity in a short span of time which is why the other terror outfits that have taken birth decades ago are feeling jealous of ISIS.”
It has been learnt by the security agencies that after Paris attacks, the sleeper cells of terror outfits like SIMI, IM, LeT, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda have become active. Some of the conversations carried out in past few days have been retrieved by the agencies and after decoding it was learnt that these outfits are planning a joint operation to make the upcoming terror strike a big news.
“The cultural events and upcoming celebration during the New Year are the targets of these outfits. The recently recruited terrorists are now being counselled and trained for the fidayeen attack,” the source added quoting some of the uncoded transcripts of the outfits.
The inputs have been shared by the states police and high alert is sounded all over. “The next three months are the most sensitive and vulnerable days. This time the target of these outfits is not political or religious based. The outfits are carrying out a competition and they will go beyond their boundaries and will hatch a conspiracy out of the box to prove that they are equivalent to the ISIS,” the source added.
Senior Police officials of Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore confirmed that the intelligence agencies have shared this input with them after which the police have become more alert. All the concerned officials have confirmed the information requesting anonymity.
