The Andhra Pradesh cabinet Thursday decided to provide government jobs to one family member each of those killed in last month’s terror attacks in Hyderabad.
The cabinet at its meeting, chaired by chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, also decided to provide jobs to those who became permanently disabled or their family members.
Briefing the media of the cabinet decisions, information and public relations minister D K Aruna said the government would extend all possible help to the families of the victims.
Twin bomb blasts on 21 February at crowded Dilsukhnagar area in Hyderabad had killed 17 people and injured 116 others.
The N Kiran Kumar Reddy-led state government has already handed over Rs.6 lakh each to the kin of the victims.
In other decisions, the cabinet gave its approval for handing over government land for Hyderabad Metro Rail works.
