BJP president Amit Shah launched a mobile application on Monday called ‘Constituency Connect’ to develop more interaction with the people for good governance and to bring transparency and accountability.
The mobile application was conceptualized by Meenakshi Lekhi, the BJP MP from New Delhi constituency, and was launched at the party headquarters. While launching the application she said, ‘Through the use of technology the gap between electorate and MP of the constituency will be reduced. This is going to increase our interaction with the people to understand their needs and problems.’ She said: ‘Through this application local issues like health and school can be brought to the notice of the MP of that constituency.’
The party president claimed that to solve various problems in the national capital it is necessary for corporators, MLAs and MPs to connect with the electorate of their respective areas. ‘I would like to congratulate Lekhiji on this initiative. This is a new beginning and this mobile application will be taken further according to the experiences,’ Shah said. Through this app, voters can share their problems of their areas to its constituency’s MP and can also send photographs. They can also give their suggestions to the problems through this application.
