Delhi health minister AK Walia on Saturday inaugurated Hindustni Dawkhana at Ballimaran after being upgradated to a diagnostic centre including a modern mother lab and an x-ray unit.
Speaking on the occasion, Walia said upgradation of the existing multidisciplinary dispensary will provide much needed relief to thousands of residents. Now they will have X-ray, laboratory and ECG facilities at the dispensary itself. ‘The poor residents of the area had been finding it difficult to get proper treatment as they could not afford the diagnostic facilities,’ said Walia. The diagnostic centre is equipped with semi auto analyzer, Cell counter, dital colorimeter, and ECD machine.
On the occasion union minister Kapil Sibal said that the government is providing wheat to the entire family at price of Rs 80 whereas one cinema ticket alone these days costs Rs 250. The land reform bill would change the scene of agriculture sector making rural people master of their destiny.
