Air Force chief Arup Raha will on Saturday visit Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Odisha’s Koraput which deals mainly with Russian-origin aero-engines.
The Koraput division is one of the premier divisions of HAL and carries out repair and overhaul of MiG and Sukhoi aircraft engines.
Raha will address a technical seminar which will see discussion on various topics like requirements of advanced gas turbine engine for combat aircraft, developments in 4th and 5th generation aero-engines and advanced magnesium alloys for aero-engine applications among others.
