The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) received a cadaver organ donation earlier this month following the death of 40-year-old Parmanad Arya from Khanpur area in the national Capital. According to Rajeev Maikhuri, the transplant coordinator at AIIMS, the cadaver organ donation was successfully conducted on August 14 by a team of experts led by AIIMS director MC Misra.
“The family originally belongs to Haldwani in Uttarakhand (the second cadaver donor from the state and district).
