After two and a half months, police submits charge-sheet for Haridebapura incident

Almost 80 days after a gun firing incident outside of a liquor shop in West Bengal’s Haridebpura, the police have filed a charge-sheet in the court on Saturday.

 On July 8, members of two groups who were in inebriated states were involved in a scuffle which led to shots being fired around midnight. Rahul Majumdar, a local youth was caught in the crossfire and died.
 According to <g data-gr-id="16">sources</g> the <g data-gr-id="15">261 page</g> charge-sheet has the names of the main accused identified as Kali Singh, his brother Durga Singh and Bablu Ghosh alias <g data-gr-id="19">Nante</g> along with 11 others.

 The accused have been booked under murder as well as attempt to murder along with other charges. According to the police, the forensic report is being awaited before they can press charges under the Arms Act.
