The admission to the Four-Year Undergraduate Courses (FYUP) of Delhi University will begin from 5 June at different information centers of the Delhi University.

With a small change in OMR form this year, the University has divided forms into two categories, one for the OBC and General category, and the other for SC/ST and physically-disabled students. The forms will be available between 5 to 19 June from 9 am to 1 pm, expect on Sundays.
Candidates seeking admission to various under-graduate courses in different colleges of the University for which there are no entrance exams, are required to register either online or offline by completing available OMR forms and submitting them at any of the 18 admission information centers in Delhi.

There will be separate registrations for Kashimiri migrants that will take place in Room no 218, New Administrative Block, North Campus. For admissions in sports or extra-curricular categories and hostel accommodation, forms are to be collected and submitted at the colleges. Sale of admission forms at post offices will be discontinued from this year.
Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, deputy dean of students welfare said,  ‘The University in the first year has given 33 per cent weightage to Main and Major papers, and 67 per cent weightage has been given to foundation courses.’

‘There are eleven foundation courses which will help students to understand the challenges being faced by India’, he added. Tuteja said , ‘This year we have done our best to make the admission process simpler. Students need to select their choice of main discipline in the OMR form and they can take admission in any college’.
According to the schedule, the admission process will end on 13 July.’
