A man was on Wednesday acquitted of rape but the complainant (woman) in the case alleged she was molested outside the court by the man and his brother.
Abhay Singh, 27, brother of Arvind Singh, 24, acquitted of rape charge by the court of additional district judge Alka Malik, was detained for allegedly molesting the complainant woman.
A woman, 28, filed complaint of rape against Arvind, 25 April at the Udyog Vihar police station.
Arvind was a manager in an export house in Udyog Vihar while the complainant was an employee in the same firm.
After the court’s verdict Wednesday, the brother duo started celebrations on the court premises and allegedly molested the woman while distributing sweets.
