Deposing before a CBI court in Aarushi Talwar's murder case, a former forensic science expert on Monday said there is a possibility that the deep cuts on the teenager and the domestic help's throats could have been inflicted with a 'Khukuri' (Nepalese knife).

R K Sharma, former head of department of forensic science at AIIMS, told the court of additional sessions judge Shyam Lal, that Aarushi's post mortem report mentioned 'sliced carotid artery' and it is difficult to slit it using a scalpel, as the artery is deep inside the neck.
