The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for not fulfilling its electoral promise of the implementation of one-rank-one-pension (OROP) scheme.
“Even after one year of the Narendra Modi government, ex-servicemen continue to be disappointed as the government has failed to implement the OROP mechanism for them. The scheme is currently shuttling between the Ministries of Finance and <g data-gr-id="10">Defence,</g> after several issues were raised against it,” said Dilip Pandey, an AAP leader. The party said OROP is the right of Army personnel.
