It seems like Congress would leave no stone unturned for its historical rally in support of foreign direct investment (FDI) in multi-brand retail at Ramlila Maidan slated for 4 November this year. A marathon meeting was convened by chief minister Sheila Dikshit at her residence on Thursday with scores of Congress workers including all Delhi government ministers, MP’s, party MLA’s, municipal councillors and block Congress leaders to discuss the strategy to make the rally a ‘Maharally’. The meeting started late in the evening, during which Dikshit clearly instructed the MLAs and councillors that this FDI rally should be a grand one as this rally belongs to United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi and not of any individual leader.
