A laughter ride

The Capital is set to laugh all the way as Dhruv Arts and Cultural Society is up with their comic play Chamatkari Baba. A group of 18 artistes and two technicians will be presenting the ninety minute show that is a full of humours and satires. Pradeep Sharma, who have been in theatre for 10 years is the writer and the director of the show. The performing artistes are - Pradeep Singh, the writer himself with Surbhi Pandey, Rajat Budhiraja, Gagan Chawla, Arti Wahi, Supriya Budhiraja, Manohar Pandey, Amreesh Kumar, David Massey, Chhavi, Mohit Aggarwal, Sunil Rawat and Twinkle Singh.

The play explains the hilarious situations and comic relations of a baba and his chela. It’s a story about two men who come from a village to explore the colorful life of a city.  The glamour of the city doesn’t let them go back. Now the problem that they face is source of their survival for which they take up the profession as one becomes baba and the other his chela. The play further goes on highlighting other menace of the society.
