83 die in deadly Cambodia floods

At least 83 people died and more than 800,000 were affected by floods in Mekong and heavy rainfall in Cambodia in the last three weeks, an official said on Monday. ‘Up to now, 83 people have died of drowning and over 800,000 people have been affected in 15 flood-hit areas,’ Nhim Vanda, vice-president of the National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM), said.
