Eight Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who were killed by militants in an ambush in J&K will be considered as martyrs, MoS for Home Kiren Rijiju said on Tuesday.
“There is no policy to formally declare martyrs. But government considers as martyrs all those who sacrifice their lives serving the nation,” hea said.
Rijiju said the eight CRPF personnel, who lost their lives in Pampore on Saturday, will certainly be considered as martyrs.
