The Delhi Police Special Cell have arrested four robbers from various parts of the national Capital, police said on Saturday.
The accused have been identifies as Sanjay (44), Rohit (25), Shiv Kumar Mishra (33) and Deepak (24).
“One English pistol .32 bore along with two live cartridges and one country made pistol .315 bore along with three live cartridges have been recovered. One stolen i-10 car has also been recovered,” said a senior police official.
According to the police, after the arrest of these four accused, three criminal cases, including two of armed robbery and one of auto theft have been solved. The armed dacoity took place at the Hari Nagar area in March this year, in which five persons armed with deadly weapons forcibly entered a jewellery manufacturing unit and robbed 30-35 gold chains weighing about 500 gms.
Recently, a trap was laid near the petrol pump of Peeragarhi Chowk in Delhi and all the four robbers were arrested and illegal weapons were recovered.
It is important to mention that Sanjay is involved in 50 criminal cases, while Rohit is booked in 40.
