According to the police, the accused identified as Safal, Deepak Kumara Kasana and Vipin had abducted and killed Faimuddin over personal rivalry.
A senior investigating officer said that the accused reportedly thrashed Faimuddin till he lost consciousness near Loni border area. Thinking Faimuddun to be dead, the accused placed him in a gunny bag, kept it in Alto car and drove off to an agricultural field in UP where they buried him alive.
On June 28 morning, Faimuddin went missing. A day later, a case of abduction was registered by Faimuddin's brother, said police.
According to the police, through technical surveillance, cops found that the location of the mobile phones of Safal and Faimuddin was found to be same. Police then started tracking down Safal. He was not found at his residence.
On June 29, police received information that Safal and his brother Deepak were arrested by Uttar Pradesh police in a case of illegal arms and one Alto car was recovered from their possession.
“Taking investigation further, a team of Forensic Science Laboratory of Rohini was sent to Pilkhau in Uttar Pradesh and during preliminary test, the team found blood spots on the mat of the car floor and seat cover.
An old used ring and Aadhar card of Faimuddin was also recovered,” said a senior police official.
