Mangolpuri-Mukarba Chowk road segment, the first section of Vikaspuri-Wazirabad elevated corridor project on the Outer Ring Road, will be inaugurated on Sunday.
The AAP government’s move will ensure hassle-free travel on the busy road. The project was conceived during Sheila Dikshit dispensation.
“The first section of Vikaspuri-Wazirabad elevated road - from Mangolpuri to Mukarba Chowk will be inaugurated on Sunday. The entire project is divided into six sections,” PWD Minister Satyendar Jain said. He added that the government will move towards completing the remaining sections of this project. On January 9, Delhi Congress leaders with few locals had forcibly opened the newly-constructed elevated road from Mukarba Chowk for traffic.
