Nineteen assistant commissioners of police (ACP) of Delhi Police were transferred on Tuesday. IPS Abhishek Dhania, who was temporarily placed as an ACP at the New Delhi district was posted as the ACP of Karol Bagh in central Delhi while IPS Devesh Kumar Mahala shall now be an ACP at Kotwali in north Delhi.
Two IPS officers temporarily attached with security, JK Meena and M Harsha Vardhan, have been transferred to Patel Nagar in central district and Dabri in south-west district, respectively. Four other IPS officers — Manoj K Meena, Rohit Meena, Nidhin Valsan and Shweta Singh Chauhan, were transferred as ACP at Darya Ganj, Kalyan Puri, Sarita Vihar and Sarai Rohilla, respectively.
