Massive fire in Ludhiana yarn factory building

Chandigarh: A massive fire was reported on Tuesday at a private yarn factory building in Punjab's industrial city of Ludhiana, police said.

The building is located close to the popular Shringar cinema hall.

At least 12 fire brigade vehicles were engaged in controlling the fire.

Police sources said that the fire was so intense that a portion of the building collapsed.

No casualties were reported so far.

Goods worth lakhs of rupees were completely destroyed in the fire.
