China plans to raise special funds for research on smog.
Premier of the People's Republic of China, Li Keqiang on Wednesday said that the country is ready to set up a special fund to conduct a research on smog that is prevalent in North China with the help of some excellent scientists.
China will fight and win the battle against smog but it takes time, Li told media at the time of wrapping up the annual legislative session, reported Xinhua news agency.
Scientists told Li during the session that they have not yet understood the causes affecting winter smog in North China, which is unique in the world.
