Want people to notice the actor in me: Gauhar Khan

Gauhar appeared in the 2009 Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rocket Singh: Salesman of the year and went on to act in Ishaqzaade.

 

Her performances in both the films was appreciated despite Gauhar not being in the lead role. The actor, however, will be now seen in her first leading role in the upcoming thriller Fever. “Yes, directors haven’t tapped my full potential yet. I am glad that now with Fever releasing, people will sit back and take notice of the actor in me. I want them to know that ‘yes she can perform,’” said Gauhar. 

Written and directed by Rajeev Jhaveri, the suspense- thriller also stars Rajeev Khandelwal along with some British actors.

The 32-year-old actor, who has featured in several item numbers, is happy with the way her career is going and is especially thrilled to work with Vidya Balan in Begum Jaan.
