Uber cabs to get CCTV cameras soon

CCTV cameras will be installed in Uber cabs from March, Principal Secretary Transport department Alapan Bandopadhyay said on Saturday. He said Uber authorities had been informed following instructions from the Centre. As a result, the safety and security of passengers will be strengthened. 

The security of passengers travelling in Uber vehicles has been questioned over and over again and this had affected the business of the company. The decision made the authorities of Uber very happy.  Over the past few years, the popularity of cabs has gone up and people prefer to travel in these vehicles because of hassle free journey.
