Three killed in accident on GT Road

Three persons including a mother and son of a family were killed while one was injured in an accident reported from the GT Road near Budhha Farms in Greater Noida, when their Maruti van, in which they were travelling, collided with an unidentified vehicle. The car turned turtle after hitting a divider. The accused driver of the unidentified vehicle fled from the spot after the accident.

Police identified the deceased as Shanti Devi (45), Roshan Lal (23) and Ranveer (23) while the injured as Vimlesh. The family, all residents of Mohan Nagar in Ghaziabad, was going to their relatives’ house in Bulandshahr to attend a function.

A passer-by informed the police following which the cops reached after 45 minutes. “Their lives could have been saved if they were admitted to the hospital by police on time. No one stopped to help them,” said Parminder Singh, a villager. The police, after conducting the post-mortem, handed over the bodies to the family members.
