Three arrested for looting

Three members of a gang of six, who had looted a vehicle carrying the consignment of a popular e-commerce firm on National Highway-8, have been arrested and the stolen items recovered from them, police said on Monday.

The tempo carrying Amazon’s consignment was looted by six persons on NH-8 on September 10. The driver was dumped in Rangpuri area by the robbers, who then fled in another vehicle with the goods.

“A case was registered in this connection at Vasant Kunj(south) police station,” Nupur Prasad, Additional DCP (south) said. The vehicle used in the crime and other goods were recovered from the possession of the duo, the officer said.
