The Headhunter’s Calling premieres at TIFF

Veteran actor Anupam Kher walked the red carpet of the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2016  with Hollywood actor Gerard Butler for the premiere of upcoming Hollywood drama film The Headhunter’s Calling.

Starring Butler and Willem Dafoe in the lead, The Headhunter’s Calling is directed by Mark Williams and written by Bill Dubuque. It features Anupam in the role of an Indian-American pediatric oncologist.

Anupam took to Twitter on Thursday to share some photographs from the red carpet ceremony, for which he was dressed in a black suit. They made the appearance on Wednesday night.

“What an amazing night! Sharing my red carpet moments at TIFF16, Toronto for The Headhunter’s Calling,” Anupam captioned the image.Anupam, 61, was also ecstatic with words of praise from the film’s director at the TIFF stage.

“Proud moment when director of The Headhunter’s Calling described me as ‘one of the best actors in the world’ at #TIFF16,” wrote the veteran actor, who was overjoyed to represent India at the gala.

The film also stars Alfred Molina, Alison Brie and Gretchen Mol.
