IPL Fever begins
After a two-year wait, two-time champions Chennai Super Kings has returned once again to the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The team had retained Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and later on, through right to match card, also bagged West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo.
CSK had successful campaigns in every season of IPL before they were disbarred from the tournament for two years.
Rejuvenated after the exile, the yellow army will be back with new experienced players in the squad, gunning to take the title home.
The team looks strong in their batting departments as they have Murali Vijay, Suresh Raina, Sam Billings, Ambati Rayadu and their old guard Dhoni, accompanied with experienced campaigners in Jadeja and Bravo are set to be the vintage side they used to be two years back.
CSK opted out of using their RTM card to buy-back R Ashwin and tried to compensate that by signing Harbhajan SIngh.
Pace department can be a spot of bother for the team as they did not have many options.
