Sonia Gandhi turns 70

A host of leaders greeted Congress president Sonia Gandhi on her birthday as she turned 70 on Friday. PM Narendra Modi greeted the Congress president on her birthday wishing her a long life filled with good health.

“Birthday wishes to Smt Sonia Gandhi. May Almighty bless her with a long life filled with good health," Modi tweeted. Top Congress leaders including former PM Manmohan Singh, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad, Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, besides senior party leaders A K Antony, P Chidambaram, Ahmed Patel, Ambika Soni, Motilal Vora and Sushilkumar Shinde wished her with flowers at her 10, Janpath residence.
