Sharpshooter wanted in several cases, arrested

A Delhi University Science graduate who later turned into a sharpshooter, allegedly working for an infamous gang in the city, has been arrested by the police. 

The sharpshooter, identified as Kuldeep Singh, alias, <g data-gr-id="27">Fajja</g>, was associated with gangster Jitender, who runs the infamous Gogi gang in the outer peripheries of Delhi. Delhi Police had declared a total reward of Rs 75,000 on <g data-gr-id="28">Fajja's</g> arrest, police said on Monday.

Sleuths from the Alipur police station in Delhi arrested <g data-gr-id="29">Fajja</g> from Rishikesh in Uttrakhand, police said adding that he was wanted in five criminal cases, in which his involvement in four cases have been established.

Serious cases under charges of murder, arms act, and robberies are registered against <g data-gr-id="18">Fajja</g> in several police stations of the city, said a senior police official.

According to the police, <g data-gr-id="22">Fajja</g> has done his graduation in B Sc from Delhi University and his entry into the crime world was when he was pursuing his graduation, said police. After <g data-gr-id="23">Fajja</g> joining Gogi gang he killed several people, especially rival gang members, apart from committing several other crimes.
A reward of Rs 50,000 on <g data-gr-id="26">Fajja</g> was declared by Mahendra Park police station and another reward of Rs 25,000 was declared by Alipur police station, the official added.
